In the paper industry, Grade 2 Titanium Sheets are used for heat exchangers, condenser tubing, and bleaching plants, and offshore oil installations for water lines. Due to all these qualities, Grade 2 Titanium Plates are ideal for any application requiring ease of formability. In addition to airframe components, cryogenic vessels, condenser tubing, and pickling baskets, titanium Grade 5 Sheets are frequently used. Plates made from Titanium Grade 5 are strong, heat-treatable, ductile, fabricated well, and weldable well.

Coils made from titanium grade 5 offer good mechanical strength and low density in addition to excellent corrosion resistance. Among all titanium alloys, Grade 5 Titanium Sheets are the most commonly used throughout the world. These Grade 5 Titanium Plates can be heat treated in section sizes up to 15mm and are suitable for use up to approximately 400°C (750°F).
