Due to the stiffening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix, INCONEL alloy 625 does not require precipitation-hardening treatments. Due to this combination of elements, INCONEL alloy 625 has excellent resistance to corrosive environments of unusual severity, as well as high-temperature effects such as carburization and oxidation. We can also detail information about what is Inconel metal. what is Inconel? etc.

Sea-water applications benefit from INCONEL 625's resistance to local attack (pitting and crevice corrosion), high corrosion-fatigue strength, high tensile strength, and resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking.  Mooring cables, propeller blades for motor patrol gunboats, submarine auxiliary propulsion motors, submarine quick disconnect fittings, exhaust ducts for Navy utility boats, sheathing for submarine communication cables, submarine transducer controls, and steam-line bellows are all made of this material.

Inconel 625 plates are enriched with a columbium-tantalum alloy, as well as molybdenum and chrome. Steel Tubes India also supplies Inconel 625 bars, sheets, and forgings. These preparations also contain significant amounts of carbon, iron, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, titanium, and cobalt.

There are potential applications for this material, including springs, seals, bellows for submerged controls, electrical cable connectors, fasteners, flexure devices, and oceanographic instruments. Among the properties of INCONEL alloy 625 that attract aerospace engineers are it's high tensile, creep, and rupture strength, outstanding fatigue and thermal-fatigue strength, oxidation resistance, and excellent weldability and traceability.  It is being used in such applications as aircraft ducting systems, engine exhaust systems, thrust-reverser systems, resistance welded honeycomb structures for housing engine controls, fuel and hydraulic line inconel tubing, spray bars, bellows, turbine shroud rings, and heat-exchanger tubing in environmental control systems.

I have highly effective background moments and extensive experience exporting, supplying, and managing Inconel 625 Sheets, Inconel 625 Plates, and Inconel 625 Coils, Iconel 625. Among the features of our Inconel 625 product, Inconel Alloy 625 Coil range are corrosion resistance, dimensional accuracy, high durability, and ease of installation.

The entire range is available in multiple sizes, and grade specifications, and at reasonable prices. We are ISO 9001:2008 certified and located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Among the products we offer are UNS N06625 Inconel 625 Sheets, Plates, and Coils that come in a variety of shapes, and sizes, and are also made of high-quality materials.

Inconel 625 sheets and plates

It can be used in springs, seals, bellows for submerged controls, electrical cable connectors, fasteners, flexure devices, and oceanographic instruments. Among the properties of INCONEL alloy 625 that attract aerospace engineers are its high tensile, creep, and rupture strength, fatigue and thermal-fatigue strength, oxidation resistance, and excellent weldability and traceability. It is used in a wide range of plant equipment components.  Due to its high strength, it can be used in thinner-walled vessels or tubing than other materials, thereby improving heat transfer and reducing weight.

A few applications requiring material alloy INCONEL metal 625 density, strength, and corrosion resistance include bubble caps, tubing, reaction vessels, distillation columns, heat exchangers, transfer piping, and valves. For reactor-core and control-rod components in nuclear water reactors, INCONEL alloy 625 is used.  In 500°-600°F (260°-316°C) water, the material exhibits excellent strength, uniform corrosion resistance, stress crack resistance, and pitting resistance.

In advanced reactor concepts, alloy 625 is also being considered because it has a high allowable design strength at elevated temperatures, especially between 1200°-1400°F (649-760°C). Based on extensive testing, the properties provided in this bulletin are typical of the alloy, but should not be used for specification purposes.  This publication concludes with applicable specifications.

Inconel Steel 625 Plates (UNS N06625) have excellent restraint welding properties. During machining, these Alloy 625 Sheets work harden rapidly, generate high heat during cutting, weld to the cutting tool surface, and offer high resistance to metal removal due to their high shear strength. As a result of welding heavy restrained sections, the mechanical properties are similar to those of base metals. There are many applications for Alloy 625 Plates, including flare stacks, seawater components, and chemical process equipment handling both oxidizing and reducing acids.

Nickel-chromium alloy with aluminum added to Inconel 625 Plates & Sheets are highly resistant to oxidation and high temperatures corrosion. These Inconel 625 sheets (UNS N06625) are used for heat-treating muffles and retorts, catalyst support grids in nitric acid production, radiator tubes, steam superheater tube supports, etc. The power generation industry also uses Inconel 625 Plates to fabricate combustion chambers, tube supports, and ashtrays. With a solid solution nickel-chromium alloy, Inconel 625 Plates offer excellent heat resistance up to about 1200°C. Because of its high nickel content combined with chromium, Inconel 625 Plate has good aqueous corrosion resistance. Strength and toughness are also high, and are retained when serviced at high temperatures for extended periods of time.

There is no comparison between Inconel 625 Sheet and Inconel 625 Plates when it comes to resistance and Inconel composition to nitriding in dissociated ammonia. Rolling sheets made of Inconel 625 have high strength, ductility, and toughness, and can be used at cryogenic temperatures. In addition to the Inconel 625 Flat Sheet, Inconel 625 Composition Plate and the Inconel 625 Perforated Plate are also available. After long service exposure, Inconel 625 Rolling Plate retains its ductility after long service exposure and is corrosion resistant under oxidizing conditions. It is very resistant to high-temperature oxidation – up to 2200° F – as well as aqueous corrosion. Inconnel 625 Clad Plates are also suitable for use at high temperatures.

Mechanical Properties

Mechanical Properties Nominal room-temperature mechanical properties of INCONNEL alloy 625. For service at 1200°F and below, hot-finished, cold-finished, and annealed conditions (depending on the requirements involved) are recommended.  For service above 1200°F, either annealed or solution-treated material will give the best service.

The solution-treated condition is recommended for components that require optimum resistance to creep or rupture.  Fine-grained (annealed) material may be advantageous at temperatures up to 1500°F with respect to fatigue strength, hardness, and tensile and yield strength.

MacGregor’s two-load was used for the determination of the true stress-strain curve for alloy 625 clad pipe at room temperature. The two-load test requires no strain measurement during the test, and only the maximum and fracture loads are recorded.
